10 Reasons Why You Need to Quit Smoking

I remember when the first time I smoked a cigarette, I smoked just to know why people smoke and how people smoke. I thought after tasting one or two, I am not going to smoke again. But after taking the taste of one cigarette, I became addicted to smoking cigarettes. I wanted to quit smoking. So I just figured out reasons why I Need to quit smoking. Here are those reasons. They may very for you despite.

  1. Smoking is injurious to health. Smoking increases the chances of cancer. I do not want to die because of lung cancer or any type of cancer.
  2. I have a breathing problem and smoking is going to increase it. I want to live healthy as long as I live.
  3. Smoking causes bad breath and smelling hair. I do not want people to see me with these two problems. Many people think that smoking will improve their personality but for me, my personality will be improve only if I quit smoking.
  4. I do not want to waste my money in smoke. I can save that money and can use it for better purpose.
  5. My parents and my wife do not like that I smoke. I do not want to hurt their feelings. I love them so much, I can quit smoking for them.
  6. Quitting will increase my senses of taste and smell. So I will be able to eat food with taste.
  7. My pants pockets will not be full because I do not need to carry cigarette pack with me.
  8. I will save money on my clothes also because there will not be any more holes on my clothes due to smoking.
  9. After quitting, my skin will become wrinkle free. I do not want to look like father of my wife ;-).
  10. I want to quit because I do not want any thing to control my life.

These are some of the reasons, why I need to quit smoking. I have this list lying on my desk. So any time, I want to smoke a cigarette, I read this list and then control my habit for good.
